• (Size Large ONLY) Work same as Ladybug through Rnd 4, do not cut Black.
• Rnd 5: With right side facing, join Yellow with slip st in same st as join­ ing, ch 3, 2 dc in next sc, (dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc) around; join with slip st to first dc: 36 dc.
• Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with slip st to first dc, do not cut Yellow.
• Rnds 7 and 8: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with slip st to first dc.
• Rnds 9 and 10: With Yellow, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with slip st to first dc, cut Yellow.

Ribbing: With Black, work same as Ribbing for Basic Hat #1.

Eye (Make 2): With White, ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook; join with slip st to first sc, finish off leaving a length for sewing. Sew eyes to hat. Embroider black dot in center of each eye.
