Itty Bitty Beanie

Work same as Basic Hat # 4 working 4 rows each in the following order: red, yellow, blue, red, yellow, blue. Finish off. Follow instructions for Basic Hat #4 to complete.

Spinner:

With Green and using smaller size hook, * ch 13, dc in fourth ch from hook and in next 5 chs, hdc in next 3 chs, sc in last ch; re­peat from * once more, finish off leaving a length for sewing. Sew spinner to top of hat.

Button:

With Red and using smaller size hook, ch 2, work 6 sc in second ch from hook; join with slip st to first sc, finish off leaving a length for sewing. Sew button to top of hat over spinner.
